About Karnic Powerboats
Karnic Powerboats Ltd was founded in 1993 as a private company. In the early years the boats produced by the Cypriot company were outboard runabout models of up to 5m in length to satisfy the needs of the local market.
Today, Karnic Powerboats offer a wide range of high quality, versatile and affordable boats comprising a line-up ranging from 4m to 12m offshore hull design sports deck boats, open centre console boats, cabin boats and hardtop sports cruisers. With emphasis on the design and style of the product, the company invested in CAD-CAM technology which enabled the transformation of the Bluewater line to modern, styled designs with high degree of detail. It also enabled the use of advanced construction techniques such as all-composite structures and close mouldings.
The production is organised in all stages, from the supply of parts and materials to assembly, shipping and sales, with numerous controls in the process to ensure product quality and uniformity. In 2006 a drastic restructuring of the production system based on ‘lean’ principles has improved productivity by a high two-figure percentage and has become the base for all subsequent developments and investments in the production methods of the company.
A bookmark for the company is the decision to develop a new range of bigger more luxurious boats, the ‘Cruiser Line’.
Prime requirements for the development of this range was to offer multi-purpose boats with unique aggressive style, high level of detail, luxury, comfort and quality, at competitive price so there is highest value of the customer investment. In 2023 Karnic Powerboats will be constructing a new extension to it’s production facility in Limasssol covering an area of approximately 7000Sq m to facilitate and enable the construction of bigger such as the New S37-x range and new models that will be in production at the end of the year.
These well designed solidly built boats have foam injected and osmosis treated hull and come with a 10 year structural warranty.
